ive been thinking and honest to god: i think i would actually join a girl gang if the offer came. like a legitimate, hierarchical, “let’s carry knives under our skirts and beat up men” gang. fuck college

bringing back the sukeban girl gangs from the 70’s that wore long skirts against teen sexualization and fucked things up for the patriarchy

and this was no “5 girls in a small town” who made the news—this was yakuza level shit. 20,000 girls getting into gang fights and shoplifting and getting pissed off that only men were allowed to be rough and violent and angry

To take even a step towards the end of slavery, it took a war. The Civil Rights movement was broadly unpopular, and concessions weren’t made until riots and armed militias became the norm.

To take even a step towards the end of institutional homophobia, it took a riot. It took the creation of queer militias to stem the tide of serial killings in queer communities.

The Suffragettes are increasingly painted as protestors. People forget they developed what was essentially knife-fighting with hat pins, that they bombed, burned and beat the shit out of the enemies of women. That they were militant.

So. You know. You probably have the right idea.

While I was living in Delaware, near the University, it was well known that if you were a man out alone at night on the near-college streets, you needed to avoid groups of women.

There was at least one (probably several) group of women who were actively targeting males to beat and rob.

It was not said out loud but I noticed a trend that the men tended to be guys you would label pretty quickly as fraternity bros. They claimed not to recognize their assailants. I wonder.

and y’all wanna know the funniest part? immediately after this trend blew up, the Men decided to sexualize the hell out of these girls. this included movie adaptations and pornos where the skirts were made shorter and the tits were bigger cause apparently they had found their new fetish

but here’s how they actually looked, and it’s actually pretty badass:

so anyways. who up for a girl gang

i have a friend who told me south korea used to have “gum girls,” school age girls who would try to sell overpriced sticks of gum to school age guys as they walked to or from school. a gum girl would walk up to a guy, got real close, and put a knife up to them while they walked. the knife was positioned so that no one else could see it, and if the guy tried to run he’d get cut.

guys would usually just buy the stick of gum lol.

Or the crack epidemic being caused by the CIA, and then the subsequent murder of Gary Webb who exposed it.

    mentioned above:

    • cia crack epidemic
    • gary webb “suicide” (suspicious anyway, but gov. prevented him from getting a job after controversial report)
    • japanese american internment camps (also suggest reading the book Farewell to Manzanar)
    • MK-Ultra (TL;DR: gov. believed mind control existed for some fucking reason and tortured human subjects w/ extremely dangerous drugs (i.e. LSD) to ‘combat’ it)

    • poisoning industrial alcohol supply (during prohibition, punished “lawbreakers”, as if that’s a crime that warrants execution. 1927 archive page, requires subscription // snopes, if you trust that)

    • i dont even have sources for this bc theres just so much fucking involved in it, but start here i guess for the syrian oil warfare
    • theres like so much more so feel free to add

idk if this is exactly related but another fucked up thing the US government did is that they granted immunity to nazis who conducted fatal human experiments so they could use the data obtained from them. Just look up Unit 731 on Wikipedia and you’ll be able to read about it (some of the experiments in the “Activities” tab are extremely graphic. just a warning.)
